Comment: Well i fixed the registry error it was some iedriver but i think thats what reck mt internet explorer... but i don't know because when ever i click on a link that creats a pop up or just a pop up comes up the window is just see through like i can see my other broswer behind it and the page won't load but if i copy the shortcut and put it int he broswer im useing it works... so how do i fix this?? Oh and i tried uninstalling and deleting whats left over but it went back to my old browser then i reinstalled ie6 but still did not work... Any ideas? Thanks

Reply: (edit)I had a similar problem when opening a new IE window it was see through to the window behind it, what I did to fix this was wen't to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS and where the Temporary internet files section click SETTINGS and where it reads Check for newer versions of stored pages, I checked the AUTOMATIC. It fixed the see through window problem I had. HTH Tony M.

Reply: (edit)Tony the setting is on automatic.. The way i fixed the error i deleted all the iedrive folders by searching for them then deleted all the iedriver key information by searching for it and the error never pop uped again.

Reply: (edit)thanks John I took a look and stored it for future reference. But it does not exactly match Brent's message: Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set. This is a VB error message when simple coding errors occur - and I mean simple. It is not C++. Anyone learning VB on the first day will hit this one. thanks anyway
