I had a similar problem when opening a new IE window it was see through to the window behind it, what I did to fix this was wen't to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS and where the Temporary internet files section click SETTINGS and where it reads Check for newer versions of stored pages, I checked the AUTOMATIC. It fixed the see through window problem I had.

Tony the setting is on automatic..

The way i fixed the error i deleted all the iedrive folders by searching for them then deleted all the iedriver key information by searching for it and the error never pop uped again.

Dear Brent,

If you are still requiring the solution to an Internet Explorer 6 problem, may I suggest that you check out the dedicated IE6/OE site frequented by the three experts Tom C Koch, Frank Saunders and Jim C Pickering amongst many others. One of these three gentlemen will be able to answer all your unsolved queries hopefully.

The site reference is:-

thanks John
I took a look and stored it for future reference.
But it does not exactly match Brent's message:
Run-time error '91': Object variable or With block variable not set.
This is a VB error message when simple coding errors occur - and I mean simple. It is not C++. Anyone learning VB on the first day will hit this one.
thanks anyway
