Comment:
When using the "Open..." dialogue (control-O) in Internet Explorer, there is a pull-down menu that will automatically list past websites visits when you enter text. Is there any way to reset this list or have it not appear? Deleting cookies and History items does not do the trick.

Also look on your hard drive for a folder named "Profiles". It may be found in C:\Profiles or C:\Windows\Profiles and there may be other instances located on your computer.
In the Profiles folder you need to explorer the ALL USERS folder, Your User Folder and the Default folder if they exist. Within these subfolder under Profiles you may come across another History and Cookie folder that may have been overlooked and contain the information you thought was deleted.
