Comment: Any who has had experince installing a DSL line and internet connection shareing either on Win98SE, NT Workstation 4.0, or Windows 2000 Professional *Beta 3*, or just knows how to get my internet account on multiple computers at the same time please help me out thanks. PS. The main problem is that i cant just put the dsl modem in the D-Link port on the hub because of IP Address conflict.

Reply: (edit)I think you have a confused somthing in win98 internet connection sharing ,you dont hook up everything to a hub and then plug your dsl or cable modem .its more like a proxy server the win98 machine gets a internet connection ,modem cable modem dsl and then you hook up the rest of your computers through a network .Also you dont use the uplink port on the hub thats for linking two hubs togethers .Basically you dont connect your Internet connection into the hub you plug it into a computer then to the hub

Reply: (edit)You need two NIC in the machine that has the DSL Line going into it. The second NIC goes to the HUb.Just plug it into a regular port on the HUB. Then Install ICS. You might want to use 2 different NIC it will be easier when selecting NIC's.
