Comment: When talking using the AOL Instant Messenger(AIM)I get an echo of my voice even though both of us are using headphones. The other person does not get an echo. I get it even if the other person has the mic unplugged. Both of us are on windows 98. Anyone have any ideas??

Reply: (edit)1. If you dont have any insulation between the mike and the earpeace this can cause your condition. 2. If your are on a dial up connection and the telephone trunks between your serving office and the destination dont have the same db gain then this can cause echo cul Marty
