Internet Blocking

At my school there is a class to which the teacher doesn't want the student to have access to the internet. However she does want them to have some networking abilities (thought it is not needed). The computer are a mix of W98 and W2K, with Novell. I'm only a comp assistance and I don't have all the passwords (such as Admin) but I can requst their help and they will come and do the work request. (I'm also a student and it sort of a class I'm taking.) However I was wondering if there was anything I could do to keep them from getting the internet. Other than just unplugging the network cable. (Which is what the teacher says she is going to do if I don't come up with something.) Any help or suggestions? Thank you.

Thats a job for the Admin. Any selective Internet Blocking is going to have to be done at the router. Other than that, pull the cables.

I am a bit of a networking newbie but..
You could install a firewall and disallow internet access but allow access to networked computers. Possible a savy user could then access a networked computer and access the internet via that. I am already over my head so will now shut up.
