Internet 7 slow

Hi folks. My internet explorer 7 is running really slowly and often stops responding.
Could anybody help me as i prefer Internet explorer to Firefox.

You are on the W95/98 forum, post this on XP if that's what you are using.

i think internet explorer 7 does not work on 95/98/ME (9x)

the newest one out is IE 6 sp1

Try clearing your temp internet files
IE7: Tools, delete browsing history
IE6 and below: Go to tools, Internet options, Delete Cookes, History and offline files

It might also be a good idea to disable any toolbars installed (such as mywebsearch).

Finally, check your PC for viruses/spyware. I would reccomend Avast/Spybot S&D. Both are compatible with most versions of windows (well 95+) which should remove any "Crap" installed.
