i read a message from the win200 section about an internal modem error on the IBM thinkpad 600E from november of 2002 and I have a very similar problem but its on windows 98se I have installed the correct driver and all and device manager shows no problems but upon rebooting the computer I get an internal modem error message with two options restart modem or shutdown modem the onl on ehta works is the shutdown modem optio the restart one does not do anything
