Here's intel's chipset update page:

http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/

The 810 or 815 drivers should work.

There are 4 choices for the 810 drivers and 7 choices for the 815. Which one should I use ?

Should I try to "remove" what I have or install "on top" of what I have ?

The symptom is an exclamation point in a yellow background next to the 82371AB/EB ..

I am a novice when it comes to Windows or PC's.

Each update will include support for many different chipsets. The 815 probaby has support for the 810 and the older 440 as well. I just wasn't sure which your laptop specifically needed.

The installation process will install what's needed and will tell you if you have the wrong ones.
