Hi,
I'm looking for an instant messenging to install on my network (Server NT, workstations= all 98 ). I don't want poeple (users) to get access to friends or whatever outside our LAN. Its only purpose is to be able to communicate with coworkers in the same building.

You could just use Winpopup which comes with windows, but I believe it has a 32 character limit.

U can try using a Freeware programme available on net.
U can transfer files and folders too and most important is that u don't need any server. If ur e-mail server is down and u want to send messages, files, folders then this utility is the best.
