Subject: Installing Win98se on laptop...HELP!

Comment: OK, I've got a laptop that has swappable floppy and cdrom drives. So I can never have both in at the same time. How do I install win98se with this set up? Is there anyway to copy the cdrom drivers onto the harddrive and then install? I just reformatted everything, so there is currently nothing on the drive. PLEASE HELP! As specific as possible please! Thank you. Brandon O

Reply: (edit)Yes, copy entire win98 folder from CDROM to the hard disk by using command xcopy d:\win98 /s/e c:. Then start the installation using setup command from win98 folder on c:.
