How do I reinstall dll files. I received a message tha program I ran caused my files to be replaced. the dll's in question are in use while win98 is running so how do I replace them?

Restart in MSDos mode, then they won't be in use and you can replace them.

You can find most dlls on the web, just search for dll and download, you'll get a zipped file (usually), just decompress it, copy it to your Windows\System folder and restart you computer.

Finding dll files is as simple as doing a search on the web - try 'file.dll +download' from a browser search window.
To install dlls on Windows95/98, restart the computer in MS-DOS mode (or boot from a floppy disk) then copy the files to the proper location (usually Windows\System). Be careful installing dlls!! Make sure you know the purpose, location, version and reported issues with the file(s) first.
Summary: Can someone email me and let me know how to install DLL files, my computer keeps dropping the Oleaut32.dll file how do I install? I've downloaded it just don't know how to install? ...
