Subject: installing a second floppy drive ?
Comment:

I have repeated tried to install a second floppy drive to my PC and I wiped out my harddrive, and had to start from scratch.
I went in the cmos to set up a drive B: and that is when everything wacked out.
I tried the basic method of going to add new hardware and everytime it goes ok till I get to the part where asked for a name, I put standard floppy drive, and it hangs from there, nothing freezes right up.
I have a 350 mghz. with a super disk already as drive A. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

After you set up the cmos, can you go the command prompt only mode and use the drive?
