installed aol 6.0 and now ie5 doesn't load

Comment: i recently downloaded aol 6.0, ie5.0 which runs fine normally, won't run after aol 6.0 is loaded. does anybody know which settings were changed and how to fix this? if i restart my computer, ie5 loads fine again.

Reply: (edit)I would go out to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp? and download IE 5.5 with its service pack 1 and have the website install it for you. That will cure a lot of problems including the AOL one.

Reply: (edit)i installed 6.0, and now IE5.5 gives a message saying "Internet Explorer cant open search page", I tried everything. Repairing, reinstalling, everything, its really starting to piss me off.
