Comment:

I recently had my older comp repaired and the guy installed win 2000 pro. Which I do not want. I would like to install win xp home. Can I just uninstall the win 2000 and install xp? Everuthings been reformatted and I shouldnt need to do this again, since it hasnt been used at all. Whats the best/easiest way to do this?

Put in the XP cd, reboot and follow the prompts, it will format and install.
