Hi!
just installed a new harddrive and partitioned it in half 80/80 - wanted to install the win98 but was not able then i installed Windows XP on one partition and was going to install the Standard Windows 98 on the other but told me to Reboot & select proper boot media in selected device or something like start your computer in MS-Dos mode & then install windows 98. How do I get 98 on the other partition?
Thanks so much

You get the updated FDISK, which is good up to about 137GB. Install DOS & w98 BEFORE XP.

When you install W98 it produces it's own DOS which is fine for most folk.

You will need a W98 bootdisk (floppy) which can be downloaded from www.bootdisk.com if you haven't already got a W98 Startup Disk.

is XP on the first primary partition or on the 2nd partition ? Is first partition FAT32 or NTFS file system ? Is the 2nd partition a primary or extended partition ?

Are you planning on useing XP's boot loader or a third party boot manager ?
