Comment: Does anyone know of a command line switch I can use to copy the Windows 98 installation files from the retail CD to the hard disk to speed up the installation? I've tried using various command lines from the boot disk to practice copying the files with no luck.

Reply: (edit)go to the hard-drive create a directory called something like wininst Go to the cdrom drive and go into the Win98 directory finally type copy *.* C:\wininst or what ever you called the directory. Finally type something like C:\wininst\setup and you will then install it from the hard-drive to the drive
