I want to install an HP laserjet 4 onto an older computer but when I try a message pops up asking me to insert the Windows 98 CD ROM which I no longer have. It then says that the printer driver HPPCL5MS.DRV can not be loaded. Is there anything I can do?

It may also be stored locally in the Cabs folder.

Yeah, do a 'find files or folders' search for a file named driver15.cab. It's possible the 98 cab files were loaded on your PC and the file you're looking for is in that cab file.

If the cab file is there, then when the printer setup asks for the 98 cd just click 'continue'. It'll say it can't find the file and ask where to look. Browse to the folder containing the cab files and it'll find what it needs there.
