Ok so im on my mac atm looking around, and can find nothing. i have wasted a whold day with bot disks and xp and all this crap.
Ok so i restarted 95 in DOS and typed in "format:C\ renamed the Volume "Windows HD" and that was that. i then typed "exit" into DOS and switched off the computer.
I wanted to reinstall 95 from the disk, but i cannot. i created a boot disk in XP and tried to format C again
nothing i do is working... AND my bios is really old and crap and wont let me choose to boot from the CD drive

You'd boot with a 95 bootdisk that has cdrom support, do your formatting or whatever you felt necessary and then start the 95 installation with the cd. To do that you'd type X:\setup, where X: is the drive letter given to the cdrom by the bootdisk. (Some bootdisks create a temporary ramdrive that bumps the cdrom drive letter up. So if it normally is D: then it would be E:. But again that depends on the bootdisk. Other bootdisks specify a particular letter, like R:. Just watch the screen as the items load and it will tell you the cdrom drive letter.)
You can check at places like www.bootdisk.com for a bootdisk file if you don't have a 95 bootdisk with cdrom support.
