Comment: I have a Dell computer running windows 98. Here's my problem: I can't view .gif inages - but only in some places. They appear fine on some websites, but not others. They NEVER open in my mail (OE 6) that is my main problem. They weren't appearing on my desktop.
I have tried right clicking and selcting "Open With" and changing the program that opens the .gif files. This fixed the problem of .gif files not opening on my desktop, now I can see them fine there.
This problem started when I uninstalled Pain SHop Pro 9 after the trial ran out.
Can anyone tell me how to view gif files in my mail?/????? Thankx

Reply: (edit)I don't understand why they aren't opening in your email, but try using the 'Open with' again and select Internet Explorer.
