Comment: I have twice copied the current bios from the IBM website ( on two seperate disks). Both times my laptop said that the image file was corrupted. Anyone know whats going on here?

Reply: (edit)Dunno, but you have to be really careful with BIOS updates to make sure you have the right file. Normally it is quite unecessary, so I trust you are aware that there is a risk that this process will wreck your motherboard if you get it wrong. Derek.W
