Hi since I have downloaded the original 5.5 then the SP1 patch I recieve illegal operations every time a cut and paste a file.I thought the patch might help fix this but it is still happening. I have also used the repair file in the Add and remove program options but this does not help either.I have version number 5.50.4522.1800IC on a Pentium 266MMX 64 MB Ram 8.2 and a 3.2GB Drives

IE 5.5 only seems stable if it's a full install on a recently formatted hard drive. Otherwise it seems to be a case of what can go wrong will. At least that's what both myself and my sister have discovered so far. Giid luck in getting it fixed.
