ifsmgr.vxd error

I recently went from a Novell to Windows 2000 server and now my compaq machines give this IFSMGR.VXD error at start up and I can not connect to the network. I know it is because of the binding to TCIP but I need this for Windows 2000 has anyone found a fix for this???
