IExplorer and Explorer Error

OS: Windows 98 FE
CPU/Ram: Pentium II

When I try to go to my computer or Internet Explorer an error comes up saying that Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module SHDOCVW.DLL at 015f:79eaddal. with this error I cant even get into my Registry because of this error. I coppied SHDOCVW.DLL to the system file (c:\windows\system) soooo meny times and the error is still there. Could someone Please help. I really need to fix this error.

Reinstall windows `on top' (without a format).
