I recently upgraded to IExplorer 6.0 w/Outlook Express 6.0...now, when I try to jump to a web page from a url in a message, the new page freezes before it opens.
Please advise.

Go back to previous version of IE and you'll be ok.

1) Control Pannel
2) Add/Remove programs
3) IE tools
4) Uninstall

You'll have some the options, chose go back to Previous version of IE.

install ie 6.0 again and try to see if installtaion is smooth


if it says that cant update IE then mail me at gb7rd@yahoo.com i'll send u fix script.

I have found that IE6 will not display the page until it is downloaded unlike earlier versions that would materialize incrementally.

It sounds like normal behavior. I got used to it but I am on cable so it is quite fast and not annoying as it was when I first upgraded.

Overall I do find IE6 to be faster than earlier versions too.

So, if you are on dialup then you don't get to watch it loading. You have to wait but then, bang, it's there in it's entirety.
