Comment: I dont know a thing about computers. I lost iexplore.exe (what is is anyways?) or it got deleted? I just know that I need it to use my browser (internet explore 6) I have tried every way possible...nothing works. Anyone, please help me. Thank-you

Reply: (edit)try running system file checker, start-programs-accessories-system tools-system info-tools-system file checker, have it scan for missing or corrupted files.

Reply: (edit)Go to the Control Panel/Add Remove Programs. Select MS Internet Explorer and click Add/Remove. You will see an option to repair Internet Explorer. Select it.

Reply: (edit)look for a folder named Windows Update Setup Files in c:\windows open that folder and double click ie6setup.exe and it should reinstall ie6, if all else fails try getting it on cd-rom from your isp. or post an e-mail address where I can send iexplore.exe to you, it's 89kb
