iexlorer error

OS: win 98 se
CPU/Ram: amd k7,mmx,3dnow/160mb.
Comment:

networked 2 comp today, now one will not access the internet or outlook express. first error iexlorer.exe......now microsoft error ..iexplorer.... tried repair did not work..any suggestions

boot to c:
type in
c:\scanreg/restore
in the menu, choose a date when the computer worked okay.
reboot
