Where are the autocomplete entries stored? Are they in a text file or in the registry? If they're in the registry, what key?

In the registry, here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW

Thanks for that, but the info there is unintelligible! I'd like to be able to delete certain autocomplete entries, if possible...

In IE5, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content
Click on the Auto Complete button under Personal Information. Then change the settings to what you desire.
Hope this helps.

Er, not really - doing that will delete ALL the AutoComplete entries, which I don't want to do. I want to delete specific entries, if that's possible.

Well one way you can delete entries is to:

1. Click in the field box where you've typed your entries

2. Press the down arrow on the cursor keys until you highlight the desired entry to delete

3. Then press the Delete key

It's that simple. You will have to do that in each field box that you've made an entry, such as a Search engine like Yahoo, Google, etc. Also in other field boxes such as Name, E-mail and so on.

You can also double-click in the field point your mouse over the entry and press Delete. This may seem monotonous but it works.
