IE5 and MACXW4.DRV

I am using Win98 and ie5 When ever I click tools/internet options/security the browser crashes and says ie5 caused a page fault in MACXW4.DRV
can someone tell me how to fix this reloading the browser and setting up again does't work!

I am running into exactly the same issue you have described. I am not sure if you also have the same PC model, Sony PCV200, I have. I am still looking for a resoultion. If I find one I shall let you know. If you find first I would like to hear from you.

I did resolve it by downloading and installing the latest driver for ATI Pro video driver. Best way is to go your PC vendors support site and download the latest driver for display for that model of the PC and installing it. Hope it helps.

Use the driverfor your card provided in Windows not the one from ATI

macxw4.drv causes some of the most random program crashes, but my biggest problem is when it wont let me use realjukebox. for a few days realjukebox will work, then it wont for a while, then it will, then it wont. i might as well get a witch doctor to figure it out for me.
