Comment: A few days ago I posted a message referring to an error that I keep getting. I keep getting the window where it says that explorer has performed an illegal operation or msimn or aim different programs keep popping up saying that it has performed an illegal operation, followed by another window saying that there was an internal error and that the window will be closed. Does anyone know what can be causing this? I reinstalled the shdocvw.dll file but it did not stop the problem.

Reply: (edit)Thanks Eric. I downloaded IE 5.01 and so far no problems. I hope it works. After I downloaded it I ran SFC and find quite a few files corrupted. Hopefully this will work
