Which folder/file has the information telling what security updates where downloaded for IE6?

Internet explorer, Iesetup.cif

If you are talking about the the updates from Windows Update, there is a long blue button that says 'show installed updates'. Click that and you'll see blue lettering on the right side saying 'Already installed'.

The files you were asking about are the files that run IE, and the way it is set up.
