IE not connecting to hotmail!!!

Hi i have this problem ...which i cant find a solution to ...IE connects to any website EXCEPT hotmail..and also msn messenger doesnt sign in...i am using a dial up connection for internet access...the surprising thing is it used to work before and suddenly has stopped..on the other hand netscape is connecting to hotmail.. If anyone knows how to get around this problem please let me know..thanks

try..........add/remove programs, microsoft internet explorer, add/remove......select to repair IE.........if you've recently loaded IE6 then maybe select to go back to the previous version of IE
