When i visit a homepage it won't display all of the pictures, just some of them about 80 percent. At first i thought this was a server problem at that perticular site, but as i browsed on tragedy struck. On nearly every commercial site there was a lack of pictures that came out white with a red X in the top left corner. What can this be, a anti-spam controller, a internal server error... I don't know. I have tried reinstalling all vital applications but no luck. Personally i don't care if the commercials or ads doesn't show but it has totally messed up one of my favourite homepages Gamespot. There has also been some problem relating to this with page faults in frames also for ads. For example, the banner on this homepage doesn't show at all. It is getting really annoying, please help!

After hours of hard work it finally paid of. I've solved the problem. I just deleted the hosts-file in C:\Windows directory and it worked out. This host file had blocked all major commercials so that some webpages looked ugly.
