PART 1: Using Win98: Internet Explorer 5 problem : I want to get rid of IE 5. I believe it's messing up my system. Uninstall doesn't work. Only options are 1) repare 2) upgrade

To get rid of IE5.0, rename the file iemigrat.dll in DOS and reinstall Win98 over your current installation. The iemigrat.dll file is a file that prevents an older version of IE (eg. IE4.01 as part of Win98)from being installed.
