IE 5.0 not using Media Player to play wav files

Comment:
Whenver I click on a WAV file via IE 5, it brings up my windows sound recorder to play the WAV file. I checked my win98 file associations and they seem in order. If I click on a WAV file via file explorer, my system correctly uses windows media player to play the WAV file.

Thanks for the tip. I tried it with windows media player and it did not work. I tried it again telling windows98 to use a Real Player G2 and it worked.
Anybody have any ideas why the windows media player is not associating in IE 5 to wav files while the real player will?
