Icons on the desktop have changed

Well I don't know how but the icons have changed on the desktop. They still point to the right files and they are named correctly but they have the incorrect appearence if you know what I mean. They are recognisable. They are only the image files and the program that is dominating them is the family tree program "Generations". This is odd as it only just changed today while I was on the net. I didn't see anything unusual happen.

Thanks for that but for some reason the next boot the icons were fine and I have had a few more boots since then and the prob has not happened again. I will look at the MS page again if it does reoccur!
