Comment: I have installed a new scanner and now have 2 icons on the right side of the task bar. I deleted the old program before loading the new one. The old icon has an X on it. How can I REMOVE it.

Reply: (edit)it should have been removed with the old software. you can try to reinstall that old software and then unistall again. or you can see if that old program is in the start-up tab in MSCONFIG. if it is then un-check it and it won't be there anymore.
