icon won't delete from desctop....HELP!!

I have an icon on the desktop that won't leave. It won't let me delete it and I already tried to delete it from the registry. it won't work at all. i just don't know what to do. could someone please help me.

Well, most of the time, if you use tweakui (available at fine downloading facilities, such as download.com and others), you can "disable" the icon (doesn't delete it, but it isn't shown.) This also works well with icons such as "neighborhood network" and "recycle bin".

I have found the way to uninstall and delete the icon of the Bonzi Buddy. Go to control panel(from settings) Double click on add\remove icon click on Bonzi Buddy and then click remove. Then make sure you click "no to all" If you click anything else it may erase the whole file. I went to Bonzi Buddy Online support. com to find this. Hope it helps!

Bonzi buddy is a drag, and my system is getting slower. I deleted the program and it magically reappears. I dlete the Icon and I still get messages.
How does it integrate into the system. I am close to just reformatting everything.
Does anyone kow how to totally eliminate Bonzi Buddy?
Their site has no phone number or contact.

HI,I know the feeling go to ''MY COMPUTER'' and click.Then look for C drive and click twice on the right hand side of the mouse when the purple monkey comes up click on him.Go down the list and delete him .Where ever he is do this and it should get ride of him. Pass this along to other people with the same problem

Dave: YOur suggestion does not work. Receive error message that Bonzi is being used by Windows and disallows deletion.

I feel all your pain, but...Sweet Jesus...there is a way!!!! Scroll up to the note from Kitty, she's right!! I GOT RID OF HIM!!! As follows-Control Panel, double click add/remove, double click Bonzi Buddy, click remove & finally respond "no to all". GOOD RIDDENS BONZI!!!!

My easy access buttons don't work except for the E-mail. The only way I can get to my search engines is to go to E-Mail first and then Msn, and then to Home. THe sight my calender is on is gone unless I type in the address. When I get the enable easy access box the restore original setting choice is not availableable. I only get The internet sight is not available when I try the buttons.
