There's probably a problem with your ShellIconCache file - The easiest way to fix it (assuming the file is the problem) is to download TweakUI from Microsoft. You'll find an option to rebuild the Icons on the Repair Tab.

Short of that, you can boot to DOS and delete the file manually (in the Windows directory), it will be recreated when you restart.
