Hello,
Today, is this the first time this happened.
On my IBM thinkpad 600 all of a sudden some of the keys wont work its the 2,w,s,x, x plus cap lock.
I dont know if it might be dirty or what, but I am not sure how to get the keyboard out to see.
What I am concerned about it, my daughter was the last one to use it, I new I shouldnt have let her use it.
Any way. If you might have any suggestions, or know how I get the keys off, that would be great, Thanks
Jenni

Well, if notice the keys 2,w,s,x are all in one row on the keyboard. You may have a defective keyboard.

Go to IBM.com, support, and find and download the "hardware maintenance" manual. It will tell you, among other things, how to get the laptop apart, including removing the keyboard.
I doubt, however, that you can repair these keys, although who knows.
You can probably find a useable keyboard, or a parts laptop on eBay. There are many on there for parts, that get dropped, and the display damaged.
