I've been having trouble with installing my 3com 10-100 (LAN + 56K Modem)... I can't seem to get the drivers to work. I've seen the problem mentioned so I guess it's not just situated in Win95..

I'll install the card with the drivers I got from 3com, and then it keeps asking me for "un3c566.exe", but that file isn't ANYWHERE to be found... I saw mentioned something about the self extracting LHA's were bogus, but I don't really understand what that means nor do I know how to solve that problem.

I have WinRAR and I can view the two files I downloaded through it, but even through WinRAR I can't find this needed file!

help please!

The file it's asking for must be un3c556.exe instead of un3c566.exe. Un3c556.ex_ is in the win32 folder on disk2. When it asks for that file browse to the win32 folder. If it still can't find what it needs rename the .ex_ to .exe and then try it.

The 'disk 2' I checked was the FEM56BX2.exe download. I didn't check the other disk 2 download.
