hi guys can ya help with some problems? i have my friends IBM - Aptiva 2176 computer and cant get win95 to boot. i cant get cdrom support in dos to form a format of the drive.upon boot up i did a step by step boot up got some errors which are....C:\mww\manager\vhd50420.exe and fm801/fm1000 device doesnt exist. i had the good idea of taking the hard drive out and setting up 95 on my computer but ill be dammed if i can get the case open lol the screw driver was starting to turn into a weapon more than trying to open it lol. if you got any ideas let me know thanks :)

use the emergency boot disk and enable CDrom support. you should be able to access it then and do the OS install.

Download a file that will create a win95 floppy with cdrom support from www.bootdisk.com It works for most cdrom drives, but not all. If it doesn't work, you might have to find the dos driver and create your own bootable floppy.
