You need the i263 codec installed to play i263 compressed avi's. The codec software is available at: http://support.intel.com/support/createshare/camerapack/codinstl.htm

The windows media player will play the avi's after this codec is installed.

As i host a multimedia web site. I know there is not a fix for i263 for Macintosh. The only way for a person using a Mac to watch a avi formated with i263 is to find someone with a pc and have them convert it to viv format. It will then play on your mac with out a problem. For anyone looking for i263 codec or any other codec for windows you can find them on my site. www.vivoheaven.com

I have a Mac.. I checked in Info Box under controller(I am guessing format replaced that word because there is no word format in info box only controller) It responded saying that what was used was QTVR 1.0 Panorama Controller as well as QVTR 1.0 Object controller. Does this mean they have been shot on an even earlier application? If so can that be aquired or is that the same asi263/1.263?
Very Bewildered,
