I need a copy of wordpad.exe because I cannot seem to open a few files and programs without it. I would be very appreciative if someone can help me.
Thank you

Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Setup, Accessories, Details. Check mark WordPad and click OK. You may be prompted for your Windows CD.

Hope you realised that if WordPad isn't working it may need more than one file - check in Find. I should think the absolute minimum would be the .exe and the .cnt

Fine, I get it now, it was a downloaded .exe for the whole thing - great.

I had wrongly assumed that you were just sending the .exe file from off your own machine, so I then wondered about the rest of the files.
