I had a report for work which I wrote a few months ago, now I need to refer to it again and I have forgotten my password ! I hve tried some of the free demo programs but they are either limited to 4 character passwords or they use the brute force attack which doesn't seem to recover my password. HELP ! Steve

I realize that you have already tried some of the free programs for this, but you might try the free programs they have at http://www.winsite.com. Also, you might try good old fashion memory. Just decide you already know what the password is and work toward remebering it. It sometimes takes 3 days to remember something but if you keep at it you will eventually remember. While you are trying to remember it. Do like the old hackers used to do, write down every word or combination of characters that it could possibly be and try each on one them twice or three times each until you get the right one.
