Reply: (edit)Look for programs called Tweakui or X-Setup. These will allow you to customize your desktop including hiding the desktop icons. Go to www.winfiles.com and you can get the programs there.

Reply: (edit)If you're running 98 or 95 w/ the IE4 desktop update installed, you can hide all desktop icons when you display the desktop as a webpage
