Comment: I need rundll32.exe! I didn't uninstall a game correctly, and somehow deleted the file. I've searched and searched online, but everyone refers to the Win98 cd that I've lost (it's buried around here somewhere) or to that CAB file...which I also can't find. Thanks.

Reply: (edit)If you can boot up normally, you can use System File Checker to restore the file. Go to Start -> Run -> type in 'sfc' (no quotes) and click 'Ok'. In the System file checker window there are two options 'Scan for altered files' and 'Extract one file from installation disk' Check the latter and type in rundll32.exe into the space provided and click the 'Start' button in the System File Checker window. You will need to have your Windows 98 CD in your CD-ROM drive. The file will be extracted from the Cab file in the Win98 directory on the CD and put back into the proper place within the Windows directory on the C: drive.
