You can also go to www.driverguide.com and download a driver there. But, honestly, you might be better off getting a better modem. Conexant make the crappiest modems $4.00 can buy - that's about what OEM manufacturers like Compaq and HP pay for them. They are cheap and lousy and that's why Pavilions and Presarios always come with them. They seldom will ever connect over 40KBps if you have any noise in your lines and will disconnect you intermittently. I would recommend a Lucent Technology modem or a Motorola chipset modem.
