Check the link above for AVG, a free a/v program. The other two post have a good occassional scan, but you need a good onboard a/v program, with all the updates current, running in real time on your computer.

No doubt. AVG. The Housecall web tool is okay for what it is, but it is NOT a full-blown AV program. AVG also ranks right up there with the best. http://www.grisoft.com/html/us_index.htm

F-Prot, DOS freeware version. Downloadable virus updates posted on the website every few days.
