I keep getting script error box when browsing

Specs: Windows 98
When surfing I get script error boxes at most sites. How can I get around this?

In Internet Explorer's toolbar, under Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab, there is a checkbox for 'Disable script debugging' - check it.

Still no joy, update your script engine:
Then page up to the script caution statement, download and install SCR569X under the name of MSE 5.6 [673 KB]!

That stands for Microsoft Script engine 5.6 which was the higest MS went with 98 and IE 5.50 SP2 or IE 6.0 SP1. You'll need one or the other of those Internet Explorer versions - earlier ones just won't do at all. And you didn't say what you are using. Install higher IE first here:
