i just cant find YGXA_2.dll

I believe that YGXA_2.dll is a file associated with the Yahoo Messenger Program. If you had that program and uninstalled it it probably left remnants of it in the registry. I suggest either going to the Yahoo site and check support or FAQ and see if you can find anything there. You could also use a Registry Cleaner program to try to delete any entries referring to Yahoo. A good FREE program is RegCleaner which can be downloaded at this site: http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/index.shtml

I had this problem when updating to a newer version of Messanger, then I downloaded the YGXA_2.dll from the site http://student.fortlewis.edu/~dajohnson/messenger/ and placed in the c:/programfiles/yahoo/messenger directory and it worked great.

Jim, You can download ygxa_2.dll at the FILE DOWNLOAD link below my name(Homepage:). From what I gather the file belongs in your C:\Programs\Yahoo\Messenger folder. I'm assuming that "C" is the letter of your hard drive that your Programs are installed on. Hope this helps.
